After some careless play in the AC Metropol defense, Nestor Freire kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matías Teixeira. The AC Metropol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matías Teixeira should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Freire in the 78th minute of play forced AC Metropol's goalkeeper Matías Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Nestor Freire's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matías Teixeira was relentless in the 89th minute of the game.
