Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Walmir Falcão dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sílvio Cordeiro, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Samuca Tróia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramón Veiga was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Walmir Falcão hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuca Tróia was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuca Tróia in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramón Veiga saved Mochila FC from getting behind. In the 61st minute, Samuca Tróia fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 62 played minutes Ekzema F.V. got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Arantes. Samuca Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramón Veiga having to interfere. After having played for 67 minutes, Samuca Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ekzema F.V.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuca Tróia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuca Tróia in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramón Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sílvio Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nildo Barral in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of Ekzema F.V. booed when Mochila FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gernando Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Mochila FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Gilson Sergipano hit a great ball. Samuca Tróia had several of the Mochila FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 85 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Ramón Veiga as he didn't even see the shot coming. Despite being the better team, Mochila FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
