In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Izaltina FAD's goalkeeper Diego Valladares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 11 minutes Izaltina FAD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Caetano Nunes who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Edson Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Jânio Saldanha hit a great ball. The supporters of Edson Futebol Clube booed when Izaltina FAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Saraiva came free, but Diego Valladares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arlindo Goiano came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Izaltina FAD's Duda de Sousa. But to his dismay, Duda de Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ramiro Saraiva hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Arlindo Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osmar Donato in the 26th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Izaltina FAD's Cristóvão Paranaense got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 33rd match minute, Edson Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. Arlindo Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duda de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Edson Futebol Clube. Cristóvão Paranaense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th match minute, Edson Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agostinho Brodel to maneuver through the defense. Cristóvão Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Izaltina FAD's Cristóvão Paranaense got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edson Futebol Clube's Arlindo Goiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Edson Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Arlindo Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Paranaense in the 94th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Arlindo Goiano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Arlindo Goiano made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Leandro Alagoano sent off a good shot on target. Izaltina FAD's Diego Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui de Queirós in the 100th minute of play. Izaltina FAD's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
