In the 20th match minute, Edson Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felippe Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute Dráuzio Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Edson Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. Tarcisio Tasso made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Ramiro Saraiva sent off a good shot on target. 43 minutes into the match, Flamengo CIMZ's goalkeeper Tarcisio Tasso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jânio Saldanha. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cafu Torres to make the kick off. Ulisses Coutinho's late challenge caught a Flamengo CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulisses Coutinho helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 played minutes Edson Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Ulisses Coutinho. With an all-out effort, Flamengo CIMZ's Arlindo Goiano threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cafu Torres, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 57th minute Jânio Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarcisio Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Flamengo CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Jânio Saldanha came free, but Tarcisio Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64thth minute of the game Ramiro Saraiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flamengo CIMZ's Tarcisio Tasso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tarcisio Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Saraiva in the 66th minute of play. Tarcisio Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jânio Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jânio Saldanha scored 1-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tarcisio Tasso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th minute, Dráuzio Amaral made a precise shot to the right of Arlindo Goiano. Edson Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. A collision led to Edson Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Felippe Medeiros hit a great ball. Ulisses Coutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dráuzio Amaral got free with Arlindo Goiano in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Edson Futebol Clube supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Flamengo CIMZ's performance. The match ended with a win for Flamengo CIMZ.
