Osvaldinho Cerezo scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natanael Alvarenga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Magno Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Alvarenga having to interfere. In the 19th match minute, Cremonese FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iuri Peres to maneuver through the defense. Dagoberto Guedes's late challenge caught a Grêmio Bulls's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dagoberto Guedes helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes Cremonese FC got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Guedes. Natanael Alvarenga came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio Bulls's Magno Marinho. But to his dismay, Magno Marinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Gerson de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Dagoberto Guedes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Virgílio da Rocha made a huge save. After 41 played minutes Grêmio Bulls got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Miranda. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Magno Marinho in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natanael Alvarenga saved Cremonese FC from getting behind. After 47 played minutes Grêmio Bulls got a freekick which was hit by Gerson de Barros. After the first half Grêmio Bulls were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tony Lopes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tony Lopes took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgílio da Rocha. Virgílio da Rocha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Virgílio da Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Natanael Alvarenga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magno Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Régis Koehler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgílio da Rocha having to interfere. Tony Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Virgílio da Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Iuri Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Ronaldinho Bertassi sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cremonese FC's Natanael Alvarenga didn't even have to move. After 68 played minutes Grêmio Bulls got a freekick which was hit by Abel de Amaral. A collision led to Cremonese FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Roberto Salvador hit a great ball. Magno Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldinho Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Bulls's Gerson de Barros got a free kick in the 95th minute. If Tony Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
