The supporters of Papunhas EC booed when Minuim SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvinho Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maurinho Corrêa made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Luís Fernando Nogueira sent off a good shot on target. Lauro Secco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Severo in the 8th minute of the match. Lauro Secco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aílton Donato went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Maurinho Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Furtado in the 14th minute of play. Papunhas EC's Lauro Secco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Severo in the 17th minute of play. Lauro Secco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Pirani in the 26th minute of the match. Minuim SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Papunhas EC the free kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aílton Donato was the one to do the kick off. Aílton Donato received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lauro Secco came out and tried to block the shot, but Aílton Donato slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 53rd minute. Lauro Secco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aílton Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Cordeiro came free, but Lauro Secco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Vito Pirani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 80 minutes into the match, Minuim SS's goal looked a bit too open when David Furtado came free, but Maurinho Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lauro Secco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aílton Donato, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Lauro Secco was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Aílton Donato capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aílton Donato really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Maurinho Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egídio Ferraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Elano Sarmento was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. In the 93rd match minute, Minuim SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elano Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Papunhas EC's Chico Mangueira tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Minuim SS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
