The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hermínio Freire kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After 5 played minutes, Minuim SS's Edgar do Nascimento shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mathias Pitta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Minuim SS reached it. Bizard FC's Mathias Pitta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho de Souza in the 6th minute of play. After 11 minutes of play, Bizard FC's David Souto made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurinho Corrêa was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by David Souto in the 17th minute of play forced Minuim SS's goalkeeper Maurinho Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudinho de Souza got free with Mathias Pitta in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bizard FC's Mathias Pitta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Bizard FC from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the match, David Souto notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Minuim SS's Maurinho Corrêa. Maurinho Corrêa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Minuim SS's Maurinho Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Souto in the 30th minute of play. The Minuim SS fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Minuim SS's Aílton Donato looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aílton Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Mathias Pitta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Renato de Queiroz during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 46 minutes into the match, Minuim SS's goal looked a bit too open when David Souto came free, but Maurinho Corrêa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Souto was the one to do the kick off. Vito Pirani took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mathias Pitta. Mathias Pitta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Mathias Pitta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Pirani in the 55th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Minuim SS's goalkeeper Maurinho Corrêa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norberto Oliveira. 72 minutes into the match, Minuim SS's goalkeeper Maurinho Corrêa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Souto. In the 74th minute David Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurinho Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Souto took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maurinho Corrêa. Maurinho Corrêa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-4. Emanuel Mota sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudinho de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Maurinho Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Minuim SS's Jorginho Zanette seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jorginho Zanette the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Minuim SS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jorginho Zanette had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 95 minutes into the game, one of Minuim SS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
