Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Geovânio Toscano started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes, Dagoberto Sanches mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ROSÁRIO SPORT and the Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ROSÁRIO SPORT's Dagoberto Sanches got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Vítor Lara dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Horácio da Cunha, 1-0. In the 25th minute, Luís Fabiano Figueiredo made a precise shot to the right of Horácio da Cunha. ROSÁRIO SPORT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Rômulo Carioca's late challenge caught a Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rômulo Carioca helped the player get up and apologised. After 28 played minutes ROSÁRIO SPORT got a freekick which was hit by Rômulo Carioca. Geovânio Toscano succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 29th playminute. In the 42nd minute, Luís Fabiano Figueiredo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Manfredo Cabral hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Lino Zonta made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, ROSÁRIO SPORT's Lino Zonta made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haroldo Recife was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 58th minute, Tales Alagoano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Haroldo Recife. The goal made the score 4-2. Horácio da Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fabiano Figueiredo in the 62nd minute of the match. Dagoberto Sanches recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horácio da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovânio Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Haroldo Recife showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagoberto Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. If Luís Fabiano Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
