Fabiano Gaspar's late challenge caught a Minuim SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabiano Gaspar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Fabiano Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Minuim SS getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Arthur Severo hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the game, Santo Amaro AC's Acácio Cabral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maurinho Corrêa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 21st minute, Acácio Cabral made a precise shot to the right of Maurinho Corrêa. Minuim SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Júlio Ferraz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 24th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Eusébio Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aílton Donato in the 27th minute of the match. Acácio Cabral scored 0-4 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurinho Corrêa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aílton Donato's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eusébio Albuquerque read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play.
