Albertinho Lucas started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, AVAÍ F.C.'s Edvaldo Freire dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. A hard shot 8 in the game by Albertinho Lucas from a close distance when the talented Raphael Salgado managed to make a qualified save. Belotaurus FC's players were relieved. 14 minutes into the match, Edvaldo Freire dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Raphael Salgado, 2-0. 17 minutes into the match, AVAÍ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Natanael Silva came free, but Ronaldo Matos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Belotaurus FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 22 minutes, AVAÍ F.C.'s Oswaldo Recife got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Raphael Salgado. In the 29th minute, Lúcio Eger made a precise shot to the right of Raphael Salgado. Belotaurus FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. When Ernani de Mendonça fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AVAÍ F.C.'s protests and gave Ernani de Mendonça a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Ernani de Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Guilherme Quadros to make the kick off. AVAÍ F.C.'s Ronaldo Matos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save AVAÍ F.C. from getting a goal against them. 68 minutes into the match, Belotaurus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ediberto Bertassi came free, but Raphael Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fábio Dionísio's late challenge caught a AVAÍ F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fábio Dionísio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Belotaurus FC's Fábio Dionísio got a free kick in the 70th minute. After 72 played minutes AVAÍ F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Albertinho Lucas. 74 minutes into the match, AVAÍ F.C.'s goalkeeper Ronaldo Matos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natanael Silva. After having played for 75 minutes, Natanael Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belotaurus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Natanael Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fábio Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute Albertinho Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rômulo Terra hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Albertinho Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 90 played minutes Belotaurus FC got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Dionísio. When Ernani de Mendonça was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. A collision led to AVAÍ F.C. getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ernani de Mendonça hit a great ball. If Natanael Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AVAÍ F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
