Armando Mota scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raphael Salgado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dito da Mata hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waldemar de Azevedo during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tamboril getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Waldemar de Azevedo hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Paulão Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Tamboril defense, Natanael Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Luís Sergipano. The Tamboril fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Luís Sergipano should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute, one of Tamboril:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tamboril. Tamboril:s Pedro Luís Sergipano showed great skill when he stopped Lucas Botelho:s penalty. Raphael Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Salgado having to interfere. After 37 minutes of play, Tamboril's Raphael Carioca made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raphael Salgado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raphael Carioca might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raphael Salgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raphael Carioca ran back to his position shaking his head. Armando Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Belotaurus FC's Luís Guilherme Quadros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Luís Sergipano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Raphael Carioca made the kick off in the second half. Luís Guilherme Quadros charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Guilherme Quadros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th minute, Luís Guilherme Quadros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, Belotaurus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Mota came free, but Raphael Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Guilherme Quadros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Luís Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natanael Silva in the 68th minute of play. If Raphael Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raphael Salgado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narciso Terra in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute, Raphael Carioca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tamboril fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Doriva Araújo during the 81st minute.
