A collision led to BEST FABIO F.C. getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Giuseppe Severo hit a great ball. Dedé da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar de Moraes in the 18th minute of play. Geovânio da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedé da Silveira having to interfere. BEST FABIO F.C.'s Doni Furtado got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Doni Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldão Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Luiz Gustavo Trigo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Doni Pires. The goal made the score 1-0. Ronaldão Salgado received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Doni Pires came out and tried to block the shot, but Ronaldão Salgado slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 30th minute. If Geovânio da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doni Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldão Salgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tião França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute.
