Paulinho Rosado made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Aníbal Branco sent off a good shot on target. José Vítor Paiva made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 21stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Paulinho Rosado would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Aníbal Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 24 played minutes Mosqueteiros 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo Pires. Mosqueteiros 4EVER's Paulinho Rosado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belmiro Baptista in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Mosqueteiros 4EVER booed when SALIMEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves José Vítor Paiva could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Paulinho Rosado however easily saved by the left post. In the 42nd minute, José Vítor Paiva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulinho Rosado was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Belmiro Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgar Vasconcelos was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, SALIMEN's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Oséas de Castro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Raphael Motta charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raphael Motta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 58th minute, one of Mosqueteiros 4EVER:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mosqueteiros 4EVER. In the 60th minute there was a penalty for SALIMEN. Ernesto Machado stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Paulinho Rosado. 2-1. SALIMEN's Claudinho Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save SALIMEN from getting a goal against them. In the 67th match minute, SALIMEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Romero to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Vasconcelos in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudinho Teixeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paulinho Rosado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Vítor Paiva in the 71st minute of the match. Belmiro Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in SALIMEN fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! Claudinho Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Vasconcelos in the 86th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, SALIMEN's goalkeeper Claudinho Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oséas de Castro. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
