A collision led to Xurupita FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Jaime Leal hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Jucazinho SC's Cipriano Mesquita got a free kick in the 10th minute. Lino Miranda struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Léo Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jucazinho SC. Jucazinho SC's Waldir Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amauri Quintal in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Amauri Quintal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Waldir Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Waldir Moraes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rony Vargas went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Rony Vargas took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waldir Moraes. Waldir Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Edson de Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Léo Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jucazinho SC's Waldir Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amauri Quintal in the 37th minute of play. A collision led to Xurupita FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Josué da Mata hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the game, Antônio Carlos Linhares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xurupita FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jucazinho SC the free kick. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jucazinho SC's goalkeeper Waldir Moraes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Xurupita FC's Léo Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edson de Brito in the 52nd minute of play. Josué da Mata hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Antônio Carlos Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Nestor Lara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waldir Moraes. Jucazinho SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nestor Lara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After a rather tough play, Xurupita FC's Falcão Luz got a free kick in the 75th minute. When Nestor Lara came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Xurupita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Lara couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute, Isaltino Tepedino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
