Spectators: 149 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Délio Valadares kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Célio Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldir Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Arantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lino Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rômulo Amaral hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Jucazinho SC's goal looked a bit too open when Célio Mangueira came free, but Waldir Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Joinville Esporte Clube booed when Jucazinho SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Digo Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Célio Mangueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waldir Moraes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Vivaldo Mattos took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waldir Moraes. Waldir Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 28 minutes into the match, Célio Mangueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waldir Moraes. Jucazinho SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Célio Mangueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Waldir Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Mattos in the 36th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Jucazinho SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Arantes came free, but Waldir Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Célio Mangueira was the one to do the kick off. Célio Mangueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Waldir Moraes made a huge save. In the 54th minute of the match, Vivaldo Mattos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Waldir Moraes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Jucazinho SC's Waldir Moraes got control of the ball when Célio Mangueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vivaldo Mattos took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waldir Moraes. Waldir Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 67th minute, Célio Mangueira sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Jucazinho SC's Waldir Moraes didn't even have to move. Waldir Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Mattos in the 76th minute of play. Waldir Moraes came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Joinville Esporte Clube's Célio Mangueira. But to his dismay, Célio Mangueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Célio Mangueira came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Waldir Moraes could save by the left post. Waldir Moraes made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Vivaldo Mattos sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute Célio Mangueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Vitório de Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauro Lira hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Jucazinho SC's Waldir Moraes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Jucazinho SC from getting a goal against them. Joinville Esporte Clube's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
