Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gugu Tasso took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the match, Proteu's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Prestes came free, but Dida Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper Murilo Paiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dida Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiko Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Enéas Pontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gugu Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Paiva having to interfere. In the 38thth minute of the game Gugu Tasso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curiphila Eagles's Murilo Paiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Naldo Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Dida Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Proteu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Curiphila Eagles were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donato Prestes made a kick off. After 54 minutes, Gugu Tasso made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Curiphila Eagles's Murilo Paiva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernardinho Corrêa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Paiva having to interfere. A collision led to Curiphila Eagles getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Donato Prestes hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Curiphila Eagles's Kiko Mattos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dida Mazza. That made the score 1-2 after 70 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enéas Pontes in the 76th minute of play forced Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper Murilo Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Proteu's Gugu Tasso got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tadeu do Vale hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 83rd match minute, Proteu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guga Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. Murilo Paiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gugu Tasso's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Proteu's Dida Mazza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Proteu from getting a goal against them. If Gugu Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Curiphila Eagles's Murilo Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gugu Tasso in the 96th minute of play. The Curiphila Eagles players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
