Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Deivid Vinhas kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Zé Carlos da Cunha made a precise shot to the right of Ruy Loureiro. Montevideo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 7th minute Zé Carlos da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deivid Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Tadeu Correia hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When Hélder Britto fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Milanis E.C.'s protests and gave Hélder Britto a yellow card for diving instead. Jacinto de Azevedo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tadeu Correia. After a rather tough play, Montevideo's Olavo Maranhense got a free kick in the 17th minute. Ruy Loureiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto das Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Tadeu Correia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deivid Vinhass short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Jacinto de Azevedo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ruy Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldão Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Zé Carlos da Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zé Carlos da Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Milanis E.C. getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Zé Carlos da Cunha hit a great ball. With a little luck, Milanis E.C.'s Jacinto de Azevedo got control of the ball when Deivid Vinhas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Milanis E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Pombal to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Deivid Vinhas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deivid Vinhas in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacinto de Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ruy Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldão Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When Emílio Bittencourt came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Montevideo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emílio Bittencourt couldn't finish the play.

Jacinto de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deivid Vinhas in the 56th minute of the match. Deivid Vinhas took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto de Azevedo. Jacinto de Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The supporters of Milanis E.C. booed when Montevideo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Carlos Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute Augusto das Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruy Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto das Neves in the 60th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Deivid Vinhas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Jacinto de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deivid Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Montevideo's Emílio Bittencourt got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Deivid Vinhas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacinto de Azevedo. Milanis E.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Deivid Vinhas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldão Mazza in the 83rd minute of play forced Montevideo's goalkeeper Ruy Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Milanis E.C.'s Ruy Loureiro threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Júlio Pombal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ruy Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Carlos da Cunha in the 86th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Milanis E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldão Mazza. The supporters of Montevideo booed when Milanis E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldão Mazza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute Deivid Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Montevideo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
