Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Donato Prestes started the match with the kick off. Luís Fábio Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Leripe Lifestyle's Arthur Zico got a free kick in the 8th minute. Murilo Paiva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zézinho Pontes went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Murilo Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Zico in the 22nd minute of play. Tadeu do Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Luís Fábio Cardoso made a huge save. In the 29th minute of the match Curiphila Eagles got a corner. Leripe Lifestyle's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dieguinho Lira ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Dieguinho Lira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Leripe Lifestyle's Luís Fábio Cardoso did a great save. Luís Fábio Cardoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Naldo Costa in the 31st minute. Túlio de Barros's late challenge caught a Leripe Lifestyle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Túlio de Barros helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Curiphila Eagles getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Túlio de Barros hit a great ball. Leripe Lifestyle's Celsinho Eger couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Curiphila Eagles. Zézinho Pontes hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Murilo Paiva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zézinho Pontes went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Kiko Mattos kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Murilo Paiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Velloso in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Zézinho Pontes made the kick off in the second half. Curiphila Eagles's Murilo Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Zico in the 54th minute of play. Donato Prestes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Murilo Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Velloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Naldo Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Fábio Cardoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Naldo Costa struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Luís Fábio Cardoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curiphila Eagles. Murilo Paiva was a little too slow when Zézinho Pontes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-4. In the 76th minute, Naldo Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Fábio Cardoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Leripe Lifestyle's Maurício Quadros was substituted for Chicão Silva. After 81 played minutes Leripe Lifestyle got a freekick which was hit by Luan de Castro. Curiphila Eagles's Dieguinho Lira got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Rubinho Nogueira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Murilo Paiva. The goal made the score 1-5. Rubinho Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Murilo Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Leripe Lifestyle's Rodriguinho Pires got a free kick in the 90th minute. The Leripe Lifestyle supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Leripe Lifestyle would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
