Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adelino Andrade started the match with the kick off. Adelino Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Paiva having to interfere. Murilo Paiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tostão Goiano in the 5th minute. Naldo Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jean Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Iuri Vinhas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kiko Mattos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Sagarana Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Prestes came free, but Jean Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Naldo Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tostão Goiano got free with Murilo Paiva in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, Curiphila Eagles's Kiko Mattos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jean Leite narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Sagarana Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Prestes came free, but Jean Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donato Prestes to make the kick off. Murilo Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráuzio Moreira in the 51st minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Curiphila Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Aguiar came free, but Murilo Paiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Franklin Aguiar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Murilo Paiva. Curiphila Eagles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Franklin Aguiar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Murilo Paiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adelino Andrade might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Murilo Paiva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adelino Andrade ran back to his position shaking his head. The attack was good, but when Donato Prestes in the 64th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After some careless play in the Curiphila Eagles defense, Tostão Goiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Murilo Paiva. The Curiphila Eagles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Murilo Paiva should have stopped the shot. After 74 played minutes Sagarana Clube got a freekick which was hit by Iuri Vinhas. If Donato Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeu do Vale got free with Jean Leite in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 87 played minutes Curiphila Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Donato Prestes. 90 minutes into the match, Tostão Goiano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Murilo Paiva. Curiphila Eagles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tostão Goiano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After 94 minutes, Donato Prestes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curiphila Eagles and the Sagarana Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sagarana Clube booed when Curiphila Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Prestes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sagarana Clube walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
