After 7 played minutes SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Wilson Andrade. Milanis E.C.'s Paulão Porto got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eusébio Sanches charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusébio Sanches the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eusébio Sanches hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Fabiano de Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C. getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Wilson Andrade hit a great ball. SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.'s João Augusto Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto das Neves in the 14th minute of play. Fabiano de Sousa struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. João Augusto Velasco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Milanis E.C.. João Augusto Velasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.'s zone, Paulão Porto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Augusto Velasco came out of the goal and Paulão Porto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute, Augusto das Neves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Milanis E.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Milanis E.C. getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Paulão Porto hit a great ball. João Augusto Velasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulão Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Milanis E.C. booed when SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Augusto Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldão Mazza in the 40th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcelinho Antunes made a kick off. SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.'s João Augusto Velasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 51st minute Zé Carlos da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Andrade hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute, Paulão Porto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute, Fabiano de Sousa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of João Augusto Velasco. The goal made the score 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Carlos da Cunha in the 64th minute of play forced SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.'s goalkeeper João Augusto Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Paulão Porto came free, but João Augusto Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Ronaldão Mazza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Augusto Velasco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Paulão Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Milanis E.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Paulão Porto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Augusto Velasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luiz Fábio Velasco hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Augusto das Neves fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C. getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Marcelinho Antunes hit a great ball. João Augusto Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulão Porto in the 82nd minute of the match. Marcelinho Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Paulão Porto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. João Augusto Velasco came out and tried to block the shot, but Paulão Porto slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 86th minute. 91 minutes into the match, SANTOS Indaiatuba F.C.'s goalkeeper João Augusto Velasco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldão Mazza. 94 minutes into the match, Paulão Porto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of João Augusto Velasco, 0-5. Milanis E.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
