Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luiz Cavalcante kicked off to start the match. Edgard Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Brasil during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Luiz Cavalcante kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vladimir Corrêa. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Fúria Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Vladimir Corrêa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Cavalcante. Luiz Cavalcante was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 18th minute. Montesclarense E.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Luiz Cavalcante's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Vladimir Corrêa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Montesclarense E.C.'s Luiz Cavalcante got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 27thth minute of the game Luiz Cavalcante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fúria Futebol Clube's Vladimir Corrêa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabinho Hermes hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 29th play minutes Luiz Cavalcante shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Vladimir Corrêa and just under the crossbar into goal. After 34 played minutes Fúria Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Durval Rossi. The supporters of Montesclarense E.C. booed when Fúria Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabinho Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Sandrinho Vidal put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Luiz Monteiro. 43 minutes into the game, Montesclarense E.C.'s Luiz Cavalcante nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vladimir Corrêa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sandrinho Vidal to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Sandro dos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandrinho Vidal in the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, Jerônimo Luz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Luiz Monteiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vladimir Corrêa came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Montesclarense E.C.'s Luiz Cavalcante. But to his dismay, Luiz Cavalcante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. The audience was convinced that Luiz Cavalcante's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimir Corrêa was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. In the 68th minute, Fúria Futebol Clube's Sandrinho Vidal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luiz Monteiro. Luiz Monteiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-3. Luiz Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerônimo Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. The supporters of Fúria Futebol Clube booed when Montesclarense E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Luiz Custódio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruninho Paraense hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Luiz Monteiro was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jerônimo Luz. When Fúria Futebol Clube's Sandrinho Vidal in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montesclarense E.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Fúria Futebol Clube's Adriano Paraíba got a free kick in the 85th minute. Vladimir Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Cavalcante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Vladimir Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Sandrinho Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
