Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) André Luís Nunes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd match minute, Juventudes Libertárias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Silveira to maneuver through the defense. Cido Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Gaspar having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Cido Oliveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cássio Gaspar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Hortêncio Ferreira charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hortêncio Ferreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hortêncio Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Juventudes Libertárias booed when ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldinho Corrêa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Diamantino Reis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's Cássio Gaspar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Luís Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juventudes Libertárias's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Meirelles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cássio Gaspar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diamantino Reis struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Cássio Gaspar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventudes Libertárias. Aloísio Sergipano kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Cássio Gaspar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cido Oliveira in the 41st minute. Gilberto Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Dedê Trigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Diamantino Reis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cássio Gaspar. ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diamantino Reis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Luís Meirelles made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Meirelles in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cássio Gaspar saved ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diamantino Reis in the 54th managed to get into a good position. When Juventudes Libertárias's Luís Meirelles in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's goalie prevented a goal. Cássio Gaspar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino Reis in the 63rd minute of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Luís Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventudes Libertárias's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Meirelles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diamantino Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Cássio Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cássio Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Meirelles in the 84th minute of the match. Diamantino Reis might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cássio Gaspar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diamantino Reis ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's zone, Diamantino Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio Gaspar came out of the goal and Diamantino Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Meirelles came free, but Cássio Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Juventudes Libertárias fully deserved thier win.
