The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bernardinho Freire was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Marquinhos Meirelles capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marquinhos Meirelles really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilson Favoretto got free with Bernardinho Freire in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilson Favoretto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Bernardinho Freire made a huge save. Toninho Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. With a little luck, Academia Militar MZ's Bernardinho Freire got control of the ball when Wilson Favoretto tried to sneak it across the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maicon de Almeida was the one to do the kick off. 64 minutes into the match, SC Bertioga's goalkeeper Toninho Trancoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gualter Nóbrega. Bernardinho Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Favoretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardinho Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Favoretto in the 69th minute of the match. Bernardinho Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Favoretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Marquinhos Meirelles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardinho Freire having to make a save. The Academia Militar MZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardinho Freire should have stopped the shot. Bernardinho Freire didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SC Bertioga's Wilson Favoretto shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Academia Militar MZ's Bernardinho Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquinhos Meirelles in the 82nd minute of play. In the 86th minute Donato Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardinho Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
