Red Dragon FC - DMZ's Xavi Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrão Saldanha in the 6th minute of play. Xavi Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guto Maia charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 13 played minutes Red Dragon FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Guto Maia. Álvaro Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdemar Campidelis in the 15th minute of play. Valdemar Campidelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Zanette having to interfere. In the 23rd minute César Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Álvaro Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Celso Negri came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the CA Portugália fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Negri couldn't finish the play. David Rodrigues hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. With 43 minutes on the clock, Angelo Senna commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card.
