Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Válter Dantas started the match with the kick off. Renatinho Braga hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Olavo Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válter Dantas in the 10th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Renatinho Braga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vicente Catarinense. Renatinho Braga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Vicente Catarinense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Renatinho Braga went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Espigão Steamrollers's Vicente Catarinense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Espigão Steamrollers from getting a goal against them. Vicente Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olavo Vasconcelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo de Godoi in the 30th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Francisco Garcia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vicente Catarinense. That made the score 3-0 after 35 minutes of play. Francisco Garcia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vicente Catarinense came out and tried to block the shot, but Francisco Garcia slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Francisco Garcia made the kick off in the second half. Renatinho Braga took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vicente Catarinense. Vicente Catarinense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Vicente Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Rezende in the 57th minute of the match. José Vítor de Sena hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Luiz Fabiano Nóbrega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute, Erasmo de Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute Francisco Garcia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Catarinense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Garcia's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Vicente Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the match, Renatinho Braga notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Espigão Steamrollers's Vicente Catarinense. Vicente Catarinense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vicente Catarinense came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Francisco Garcia. But to his dismay, Francisco Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. The supporters of Espigão Steamrollers booed when Desportiva Paulo Afonso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renatinho Braga scored 9-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicente Catarinense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vicente Catarinense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Garcia went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Espigão Steamrollers's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
