Reinaldo Bueno charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reinaldo Bueno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's Murillo Recife got a free kick in the 21st minute. Adelino de Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Vinhas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chester Bennington's Reinaldo Bueno got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With 30 minutes on the clock, Sidney Costa commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER booed when Chester Bennington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sidney Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Chester Bennington's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Netto came free, but Nilton Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 played minutes BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Murillo Recife. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Valdemar Barral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chester Bennington's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdemar Barral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adelino de Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Walmir Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 44 minutes of play, BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER's Mauro Guimarães made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilton Sena was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A collision led to Chester Bennington getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Pedrão Vides hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the game, Nicolas Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Nilton Sena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Reinaldo Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino de Andrade having to interfere. In the 64th minute of the match, Álvaro Netto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nilton Sena saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Pedrão Vides came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Chester Bennington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedrão Vides couldn't finish the play. Pedrão Vides struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Adelino de Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chester Bennington. In the 80th minute, João Augusto Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Chester Bennington booed when BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute Valdemar Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino de Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Mauro Guimarães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Chester Bennington getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Valdemar Barral hit a great ball. Chants of BRASIL DE PELOTAS 4EVER echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Chester Bennington had held the ball for most of the match.
