Nilton Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luís Trevisan in the 17th minute of play. Fabiofs's João de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Barral in the 18th minute of play. In the 25th minute, André Luís Trevisan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute Nestor Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João de Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júnior Pimenta during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Fabiofs got a freekick which was hit by Júnior Pimenta. Chester Bennington's Nilton Sena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Chester Bennington from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute, Geraldo Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Júnior Pimenta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Nilton Sena made a huge save. Nilton Sena was a little too slow when Júnior Pimenta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vítor Urbano got free with Nilton Sena in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Júnior Pimenta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Felippe da Mata's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nilton Sena was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matheus Vidal in the 58th minute of play forced Chester Bennington's goalkeeper Nilton Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Chester Bennington booed when Fabiofs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Urbano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walmir Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Nilton Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matheus Vidal in the 76th minute of the match.
