The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ramón Bertassi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márcio Domingues in the 4th minute of play. After 21 played minutes Compugraf got a freekick which was hit by Luís Guilherme Sampaio. Ramón Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márcio Domingues in the 31st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Compugraf's Cássio Ribeiro got a free kick in the 35th minute. Chico Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Edmílson Senna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chico Fernandez. Compugraf's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmílson Senna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 46th minute, Gil Peres made a precise shot to the right of Chico Fernandez. Compugraf's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cássio Ribeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Gil Peres hit a great ball. Chico Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Compugraf's Chico Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué Aguiar in the 58th minute of play. Felippe Trigo charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felippe Trigo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Luan Pontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmílson Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Chico Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chico Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson Senna in the 71st minute of the match. Josué Aguiar struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Chico Fernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bazar Alegria E.C. FSCMZ.
