Juarês de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eurico Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Guimarães got free with Caio dos Santos in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diego Guimarães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Caio dos Santos made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernandinho Sarmento during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
