Norberto de Carvalho's late challenge caught a Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Norberto de Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Maverick Futebol Clube's Norberto de Carvalho got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 8 minutes of play, Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Agostinho Moreno made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caio dos Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cacá Hermes took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caio dos Santos. Caio dos Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 17th minute, Agostinho Moreno made a precise shot to the right of Caio dos Santos. Maverick Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Eurico Mazza charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eurico Mazza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eurico Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Caio dos Santos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Caio dos Santos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Maxaranguape - FSCMZ booed when Maverick Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caio dos Santos came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Maxaranguape - FSCMZ's Agostinho Moreno. But to his dismay, Agostinho Moreno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marco Secco in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caio dos Santos saved Maverick Futebol Clube from getting behind. In the 32nd minute Marco Secco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Júnior Vergílio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. A collision led to Maxaranguape - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Agostinho Moreno hit a great ball.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eurico Mazza made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Maverick Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Agostinho Moreno came free, but Caio dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júnior Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Mazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maverick Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Caio dos Santos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 58 played minutes Maverick Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Roger Rossi. Sérgio Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Júnior Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Agostinho Moreno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Caio dos Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Caio dos Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Secco's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After some careless play in the Maverick Futebol Clube defense, Marco Secco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caio dos Santos. The Maverick Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caio dos Santos should have stopped the shot. In the 78th minute Cacá Hermes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Eurico Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Secco struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Caio dos Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maxaranguape - FSCMZ. After a rather tough play, Maverick Futebol Clube's Roger Rossi got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute, Ulisses Ferreira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sílvio Luís Vergílio hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Agostinho Moreno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maxaranguape - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Maverick Futebol Clube's Caio dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Secco in the 96th minute of play.
