Spectators: 149 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 0) Celso Dantas charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celso Dantas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd minute, Celso Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilson Travassos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Natã Hames in the 6th minute. After having played for 9 minutes, Tostão de Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SANTOS F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tostão de Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelo Secco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Soares having to interfere. Pratigipe EC's Cláudio Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléberson de Moraes in the 16th minute of play. If Angelo Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cláudio Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tostão de Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Kléberson de Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cláudio Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tostão de Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Pratigipe EC's goal looked a bit too open when Tostão de Amaral came free, but Cláudio Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celso Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pratigipe EC's Cláudio Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breno Nóbrega in the 37th minute of play. Cláudio Soares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Almir Schmidt went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Breno Nóbrega came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the SANTOS F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Breno Nóbrega couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Kléberson de Moraes made the kick off in the second half. Cristiano Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Wilson Travassos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chiquinho Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Angelo Secco, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 61 minutes into the game, Benjamin Quirino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Cláudio Soares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of SANTOS F.C booed when Pratigipe EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natã Hames hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After a good free kick, Natã Hames got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for SANTOS F.C. After 73 minutes, Natã Hames mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pratigipe EC and the SANTOS F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd match minute, Pratigipe EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã Hames to maneuver through the defense. Celso Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Travassos having to interfere. A collision led to SANTOS F.C getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Tostão de Amaral hit a great ball. Cláudio Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléberson de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cláudio Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno Nóbrega in the 82nd minute of play. If Kléberson de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
