Barrenta SC's Elói de Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Barrenta SC from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the match, LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Quirino came free, but Sydney Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elói de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Sergipano in the 77th minute of play. Edu Negri hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renatinho Bertassi got free with Sydney Antunes in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Naldo Oliveira was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 88 minutes into the match. A collision led to Barrenta SC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Naldo Oliveira hit a great ball. In the 91st minute Silvério Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elói de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sydney Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
