The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. João Pedro Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeca Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute Luís Fábio Furlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christiano Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, EngTULIO&Tupipano's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrício Arce came free, but João Pedro Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caetano Aguiar charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind EngTULIO&Tupipano's goalkeeper João Pedro Moraes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 35 minutes into the game, Felippe Madureira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. João Pedro Moraes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Christiano Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerson Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the game, Gilvan Sabóia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Los Andes FC - FSCMZ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Felippe Vargas made the kick off in the second half. Felippe Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Pedro Moraes having to interfere. After 52 played minutes EngTULIO&Tupipano got a freekick which was hit by Paulo José Pereira. A collision led to EngTULIO&Tupipano getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Paulo José Pereira hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Fabrício Arce made a precise shot to the right of João Pedro Moraes. EngTULIO&Tupipano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 63rd minute Gilvan Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Pedro Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Caetano Salles fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Christiano Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Vargas in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Gilvan Sabóia got a free kick in the 76th minute. Felippe Madureira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. João Pedro Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo José Pereira hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. But to his dismay, Fred Pernambucano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 90 minutes into the match, EngTULIO&Tupipano's goal looked a bit too open when Gilvan Sabóia came free, but João Pedro Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Pedro Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeca Cardoso in the 92nd minute of the match. João Pedro Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeca Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Los Andes FC - FSCMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
