Zeca Cardoso started the match with the kick off. After having played for 7 minutes, Ediberto Netto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ediberto Netto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Marzagão booed when Los Andes FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Percival Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marzagão the free kick. Percival Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's Fabrício Arce got a free kick in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Marzagão's Alberto Prado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christiano Bertassi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 25th minute Alberto Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christiano Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute of the match, Fabrício Arce got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pedro Luís Fernandez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Marzagão from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute of the match Los Andes FC - FSCMZ got a corner. Marzagão's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cauan Paiva ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cauan Paiva made a great header on Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's corner, it was just that Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Arce in the 57th minute of play forced Marzagão's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeca Cardoso in the 58th minute of play. Christiano Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabiano de Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. A collision led to Marzagão getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Cleiton Paulista hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Válbson Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the game, Ediberto Netto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 85thth minute of the game Zeca Cardoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Arce in the 88th minute of play forced Marzagão's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Zeca Cardoso came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Los Andes FC - FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeca Cardoso couldn't finish the play. Los Andes FC - FSCMZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
