Caio Quadros charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caio Quadros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 played minutes Barrenta SC got a freekick which was hit by Caio Quadros. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrianinho Matos got free with Gino Britto in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of EngTULIO&Tupipano booed when Barrenta SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renatinho Bertassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Paulo José Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Caio Quadros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Pedro Moraes. EngTULIO&Tupipano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caio Quadros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Luís Fábio Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Naldo Oliveira hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Caio Quadros made a precise shot to the right of João Pedro Moraes. EngTULIO&Tupipano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After 28 minutes, Felipe Lara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barrenta SC and the EngTULIO&Tupipano players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Barrenta SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Lara to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, Luís Fábio Furlan notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Barrenta SC's Gino Britto. Gino Britto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 33 played minutes EngTULIO&Tupipano got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Lopes. In the 35th minute Murilo Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Pedro Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to EngTULIO&Tupipano getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Paulo José Pereira hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrianinho Matos to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Barrenta SC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrianinho Matos came free, but Gino Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Barrenta SC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Elói de Medeiros hit a great ball. Naldo Oliveira was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 66 minutes into the match. Naldo Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes EngTULIO&Tupipano got a freekick which was hit by Gernando Sanches. João Pedro Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caio Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Gino Britto came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by EngTULIO&Tupipano's Luís Fábio Furlan. But to his dismay, Luís Fábio Furlan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Felipe Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gino Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrianinho Matos in the 80th minute of play. When Paulo José Pereira fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EngTULIO&Tupipano's protests and gave Paulo José Pereira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th match minute, EngTULIO&Tupipano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo José Pereira to maneuver through the defense. João Pedro Moraes was a little too slow when Caio Quadros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 2-4. Felipe Lara was extremely unlucky when he, in the 95th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The EngTULIO&Tupipano supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Barrenta SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Barrenta SC.
