Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Marzagão's Fabiano de Queiroz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alberto Prado hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 5 minutes, Leonardo Vides mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marzagão and the Barrenta SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes Marzagão got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Vides. Leonardo Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Pedro Luís Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio Quadros in the 9th minute of play. If Alberto Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gino Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neil Mar in the 17th minute of play. Gino Britto came out of the goal and Neil Mar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Marzagão's Neil Mar in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barrenta SC's goalie prevented a goal. 43 minutes into the game, Fabiano de Queiroz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gino Britto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Murilo Mazza to make the kick off. Alberto Prado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gino Britto having to make a save. Alan Teles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Teles in the 63rd minute of play forced Marzagão's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caco Donato lost his temper 64 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Marzagão's Caco Donato got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute of the match Murilo Mazza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Luís Fernandez skillfully saved the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Caio Quadros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Pedro Luís Fernandez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caio Quadros in the 80th minute of play forced Marzagão's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd match minute, Marzagão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Prado to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 86 played minutes Marzagão got a freekick which was hit by Válbson Fernandes. 88 minutes into the game, Gilberto Saraiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marzagão's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrenta SC the free kick. After 89 played minutes, Barrenta SC's Murilo Mazza shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Luís Fernandez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barrenta SC reached it. In the 95th match minute, Marzagão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleiton Paulista to maneuver through the defense. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
