Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Murilo Mazza took the kick off in the first half of the match. Barrenta SC's Caio Quadros got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. AFC - Curitiba's Edmílson Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Quadros in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 17 minutes, Tomás Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC - Curitiba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Donato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alan Teles hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Barrenta SC were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after AFC - Curitiba's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Murilo Mazza took the corner. The corner ended in Murilo Mazza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AFC - Curitiba's Edmílson Matos did a great save. The audience cheered when Murilo Mazza's long shot passed Edmílson Matos's right side. It was 0-1, 25 minutes into the match. Edmílson Matos came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Barrenta SC's Alan Teles. But to his dismay, Alan Teles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 38th minute Caio Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmílson Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes of play, Barrenta SC's Murilo Mazza made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmílson Matos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Lenílson Santos made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Barrenta SC's Murilo Mazza dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Edmílson Matos made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Murilo Mazza sent off a good shot on target. Murilo Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmílson Matos having to interfere. After some careless play in the AFC - Curitiba defense, Caio Quadros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmílson Matos. The AFC - Curitiba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmílson Matos should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute, Caio Quadros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barrenta SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. 73 minutes into the match, AFC - Curitiba's goal looked a bit too open when Caio Quadros came free, but Edmílson Matos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, AFC - Curitiba's Edmílson Matos got control of the ball when Alan Teles tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to AFC - Curitiba getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Tomás Donato hit a great ball. AFC - Curitiba's Edmílson Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldinho Cordeiro in the 77th minute of play. Osvaldinho Cordeiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Edmílson Matos came out and tried to block the shot, but Osvaldinho Cordeiro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 80th minute. Barrenta SC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
