An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Cordeiro in the 5th minute of play forced Karaboudjan's goalkeeper Kiko da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Floresta Club U18's Diogo Cordeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Karaboudjan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kiko da Costa should have stopped the shot. Kiko da Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geovânio Albuquerque's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Felippe Vianna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Conrado França in the 15th minute. Cafu Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute of the match Diogo Cordeiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kiko da Costa skillfully saved the ball. In the 28th minute, Geovânio Albuquerque ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kiko da Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Diogo Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Floresta Club U18 fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Floresta Club U18's Geovânio Albuquerque looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Floresta Club U18 booed when Karaboudjan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tales Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeca Souto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kiko da Costa came out and tried to block the shot, but Zeca Souto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-8 in the 88th minute. Frank Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Karaboudjan's goalkeeper Kiko da Costa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diogo Cordeiro. Floresta Club U18 played a much better game than Karaboudjan and deserved their victory. The Karaboudjan players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
