The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Jurassic Monsters SA booed when Locomotiva grena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeu Alvarenga didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Magno Velasco came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Jurassic Monsters SA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Magno Velasco couldn't finish the play. Lucas Magalhães made in the 91st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Serginho Reis however managed to control. Magno Velasco might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ediberto Tavares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Magno Velasco ran back to his position shaking his head. If Magno Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Jurassic Monsters SA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Locomotiva grena were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
