Orlando Vides started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- got a freekick which was hit by Arlindo Carneiro. The supporters of 20 DE SETEMBRO booed when BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertinho Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hélder de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Flavinho de Salles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BUZZIDA FC -DMZ-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 20 DE SETEMBRO the free kick. The supporters of 20 DE SETEMBRO booed when BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavinho de Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, BUZZIDA FC -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Neves came free, but Douglas Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BUZZIDA FC -DMZ-:s Douglas Tasso showed great skill when he stopped Claudinei de Andrade:s penalty. After some careless play in the BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- defense, Claudinei de Andrade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Douglas Tasso. The BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Douglas Tasso should have stopped the shot. BUZZIDA FC -DMZ-'s Douglas Tasso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- from getting a goal against them. Alessandro Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Douglas Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hélder de Queiroz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dagoberto Pirani's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Hélder de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 52 minutes of play, 20 DE SETEMBRO's Alessandro Neves made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Douglas Tasso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hélder de Queiroz was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Enrique Gaspar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Enrique Gaspar really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Hélder de Queiroz made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Dagoberto Pirani sent off a good shot on target. Douglas Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clóvis Corrêa in the 67th minute of the match. Wágner Miranda charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wágner Miranda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, 20 DE SETEMBRO's Wágner Miranda got a free kick in the 70th minute. Hélder de Queiroz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Enrique Gaspar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 74 minute of play. In the 88th match minute, BUZZIDA FC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arlindo Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. Claudinei de Andrade took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Douglas Tasso. BUZZIDA FC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
