Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arí Reis started the match with the kick off. Maurinho Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geraldo Aguiar in the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Emerson Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurinho Melo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sílvio Luiz de Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Geraldo Aguiar might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maurinho Melo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geraldo Aguiar ran back to his position shaking his head. The throw-in from Nelsinho Dias in the 18th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Emerson Costa. Mathias Rosa struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Christian Matos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germania F.C.. Christian Matos was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Arí Reis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arí Reis really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Germania F.C.'s Maurinho Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geraldo Aguiar in the 27th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Roger Camargo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabinho Reis in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurinho Melo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emerson Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurinho Melo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Amadeu da Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germania F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rua Ferreira Viana F.C. the free kick. In the 40th match minute, Germania F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu da Costa to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Geraldo Aguiar broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Germania F.C.'s Amadeu da Costa got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geraldo Aguiar in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurinho Melo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geraldo Aguiar to make the kick off. Geraldo Aguiar struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Maurinho Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valdomiro Tróia during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Germania F.C. getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Valdomiro Tróia hit a great ball. Fabinho Reis's late challenge caught a Germania F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabinho Reis helped the player get up and apologised. Maurinho Melo made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Geraldo Aguiar sent off a good shot on target. Nelsinho Dias hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Emerson Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A throw-in in the 77th minute of the game was made by Nelsinho Dias with Sílvio Luiz de Queiroz as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Geraldo Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Geraldo Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
