The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Téo Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válter Neto in the 5th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Válter Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aloísio Rossi in the 12th minute of play forced 20 DE SETEMBRO's goalkeeper Hélder de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Marco Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When 20 DE SETEMBRO's Válter Neto in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oranil's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Válter Neto in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Téo Koehler saved Oranil from getting behind. If Alessandro Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clóvis Corrêa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Válter Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, 20 DE SETEMBRO's goal looked a bit too open when Percival Simão came free, but Hélder de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Percival Simão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Hélder de Queiroz made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Soeiro in the 39th minute of play forced 20 DE SETEMBRO's goalkeeper Hélder de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Téo Koehler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clóvis Corrêa went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Téo Koehler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Válter Neto went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gonçalo Soeiro was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Oranil's goalkeeper Téo Koehler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Válter Neto. Téo Koehler was a little too slow when Alessandro Neves got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-3. Clóvis Corrêa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Válter Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 20 DE SETEMBRO's Hélder de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Soeiro in the 77th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Alessandro Neves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Téo Koehler. That made the score 0-4 in the 78 minute of play. Clóvis Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Téo Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Soeiro in the 85th minute of play forced 20 DE SETEMBRO's goalkeeper Hélder de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Clóvis Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Oranil's Gildo Azevedo got a free kick in the 87th minute. Válter Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Oranil getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Gildo Azevedo hit a great ball. Hélder de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percival Simão in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle sounded 20 DE SETEMBRO left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Oranil.
