Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Raúl de Brito started the match with the kick off. SRP-Laguna's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Murilo Montenegro scored to the left of an out of position Roberto Barbosa, making the score, 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, SRP-Laguna's goalkeeper Roberto Barbosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Vítor Brasil. A collision led to Pindorama getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Fabrício Arce hit a great ball. In the 28th minute Donato Arantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to SRP-Laguna getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Leonel Queirós hit a great ball. Dida Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeu Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pindorama's Dida Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeu Martins in the 41st minute of play. SRP-Laguna's Luís Fábio Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romeu Martins to make the kick off. When Fiori Baiano fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SRP-Laguna's protests and gave Fiori Baiano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pindorama booed when SRP-Laguna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fiori Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Fábio Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dida Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeu Martins in the 61st minute of the match. Pindorama's Dida Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Pindorama from getting a goal against them. Gerson Leão hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Romeu Martins struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Dida Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SRP-Laguna. After 82 played minutes SRP-Laguna got a freekick which was hit by Romeu Martins. 84 minutes into the match, SRP-Laguna's goal looked a bit too open when Raúl de Brito came free, but Roberto Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Barbosa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabrício Arce went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. José Vítor Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Roberto Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Pindorama players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
