Rafinha Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Délio Sergipano in the 23rd minute of play. If Reinaldo Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 34th minute, Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's Richard Lopez seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Richard Lopez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Guadalupe FC - CIMZ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Richard Lopez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Guadalupe FC - CIMZ getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Richard Lopez hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Bayern Lessa - u21's Waldemar de Toledo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Silas Varela charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silas Varela the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raimundo Loyola to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's zone, Délio Sergipano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafinha Torres came out of the goal and Délio Sergipano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Breno Brodel kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's Hortêncio de Queiroz got a free kick in the 55th minute. Rubinho Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ronaldinho de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Bayern Lessa - u21 defense, Hortêncio de Queiroz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronaldinho de Almeida. The Bayern Lessa - u21 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronaldinho de Almeida should have stopped the shot. 65 minutes into the match, Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's Rubinho Donato sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronaldinho de Almeida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Reinaldo Pombal's late challenge caught a Bayern Lessa - u21's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reinaldo Pombal helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute, Reinaldo Pombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, Bayern Lessa - u21's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio de Queiroz came free, but Ronaldinho de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruninho Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raimundo Loyola took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafinha Torres. Rafinha Torres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 90th match minute, Guadalupe FC - CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiaguinho Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. Rafinha Torres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Délio Sergipano in the 91st minute. A collision led to Guadalupe FC - CIMZ getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Silas Varela hit a great ball. After 97 played minutes, Bayern Lessa - u21's Waldemar de Toledo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rafinha Torres came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bayern Lessa - u21 reached it. The Guadalupe FC - CIMZ players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
