After 19 played minutes União Agrícola Barbarense got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Melo. Futuros FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Agnaldo Brasil in the 22nd minute. Zézinho Nóbrega's late challenge caught a Futuros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zézinho Nóbrega helped the player get up and apologised. Zézinho Nóbrega hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 35 minutes, Claudinho Damião made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Futuros FC's Koko Duro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Erik da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Pimenta in the 40th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Pimenta made a kick off. Erik da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Trevisan in the 52nd minute of the match. When Jarbas Quirino, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 54 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Erik da Fonseca was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. União Agrícola Barbarense were furious when Gilvan Donatello was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Gilvan Donatello hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, União Agrícola Barbarense's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Colorado came free, but Erik da Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. União Agrícola Barbarense's Jarbas Marques got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to União Agrícola Barbarense getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Cássio Cearense hit a great ball. Agnaldo Brasil was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 62nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 67th minute Marco Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Claudinho Damião fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored União Agrícola Barbarense's protests and gave Claudinho Damião a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd match minute, União Agrícola Barbarense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bebeto Hermes to maneuver through the defense. Koko Duro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Damião in the 85th minute of play. Erik da Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Pimenta in the 87th minute of the match. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Futuros FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Delfim Melo was slow to take the kick. During this time União Agrícola Barbarense's players had a chance to rest. Erik da Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Trevisan, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute Davi Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Futuros FC had played much better football throughout.
