Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luisão Sabóia kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pereiras FC's zone, Luís Eduardo Negri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique de Senna came out of the goal and Luís Eduardo Negri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th match minute, Pereiras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Durval Torres to maneuver through the defense. After 9 minutes of play, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Luisão Sabóia made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique de Senna was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pereiras FC's Ciro Mandrak got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ciro Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ibirama Futebol Clube! Tiago Gabriel de Carvalho placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Enrique de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisão Sabóia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pereiras FC's Enrique de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrique Branco in the 25th minute of play. Tales Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Luisão Sabóia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Ibirama Futebol Clube booed when Pereiras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fábio Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute Tiago Gabriel de Carvalho suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrique Branco during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pereiras FC made a substitution. Arthur Cioran replaced Tiago Gabriel de Carvalho. The supporters of Pereiras FC booed when Ibirama Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Eduardo Amorim hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the game, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Luís Eduardo Negri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enrique de Senna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After the first half Ibirama Futebol Clube were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Durval Torres made a kick off. Enrique de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Eduardo Negri in the 58th minute of the match. Décio Neiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Durval Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pereiras FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Durval Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Décio Neiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute Luisão Sabóia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th match minute, Pereiras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fábio Passos to maneuver through the defense. Enrique de Senna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrique Branco's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute, Luís Eduardo Negri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ibirama Futebol Clube's Décio Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Mandrak in the 77th minute of play. Enrique de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrique Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Pereiras FC's Sebastião Penha got a free kick in the 79th minute. Décio Neiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durval Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pereiras FC's Enrique de Senna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Pereiras FC from getting a goal against them. Enrique de Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márcio Trevisan, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 96 minutes, Márcio Trevisan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ibirama Futebol Clube and the Pereiras FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 96 played minutes Ibirama Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Márcio Trevisan.
