Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christiano Travassos started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Grêmio Meia Praia defense, Christiano Travassos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Régis Pombal. The Grêmio Meia Praia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Régis Pombal should have stopped the shot. Régis Pombal came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Olivedos's Natã Martins. But to his dismay, Natã Martins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 20th minute of the match Edvaldo Lima shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Régis Pombal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Grêmio Meia Praia's Régis Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natã Martins in the 26th minute of play. In the 26th minute Natã Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Régis Pombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Grêmio Meia Praia booed when Olivedos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silas Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natã Martins struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Régis Pombal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olivedos. In the 31st minute, Valdemar Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Luizão de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Olivedos booed when Grêmio Meia Praia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizão de Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fellipe Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fellipe Meirelles to make the kick off. A collision led to Olivedos getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Valdemar Braga hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goal looked a bit too open when Fellipe Meirelles came free, but Laerte da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Régis Pombal managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Olivedos's Natã Martins fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 58th match minute, Grêmio Meia Praia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Acácio Cosme to maneuver through the defense. Laerte da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão de Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laerte da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fellipe Meirelles in the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Olivedos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natã Martins to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th match minute, Grêmio Meia Praia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Acácio Cosme to maneuver through the defense. Régis Pombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belmiro Cearense in the 70th minute of play. Régis Pombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natã Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute Fellipe Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Edvaldo Lima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Régis Pombal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Régis Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christiano Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Belmiro Cearense received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Régis Pombal came out and tried to block the shot, but Belmiro Cearense slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acácio Cosme in the 89th minute of play forced Olivedos's goalkeeper Laerte da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Olivedos defense, Luizão de Andrade kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laerte da Silveira. The Olivedos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laerte da Silveira should have stopped the shot. Olivedos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
