Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marco Pimenta started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Olivedos getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. João Adolfo Pombal hit a great ball. Edvaldo Lima hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute Marco Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Futuros FC's Marco Pimenta got a free kick in the 17th minute. Laerte da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davi Barbosa in the 24th minute of play. Olivedos's Oséias Nunes suffered a concussion after 26 minutes and had to leave the field. Oscar Trevisan charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Trevisan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Olivedos made a substitution. Raimundo do Nascimento replaced Oséias Nunes. After 27 played minutes Futuros FC got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Trevisan. The audience was convinced that Marco Pimenta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laerte da Silveira was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Futuros FC! Koko Duro had in the 33rdth minute some difficulties stopping Natã Martins's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Laerte da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Pimenta in the 41st minute of play. When Fábio Toscano fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Futuros FC's protests and gave Fábio Toscano a yellow card for diving instead. If Christiano Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

A well-hit corner resulted in Belmiro Cearense heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Oscar Trevisan hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Tomás Marques charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomás Marques the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marco Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Laerte da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Pimenta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laerte da Silveira having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Raimundo do Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Belmiro Cearense during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 86 played minutes Olivedos got a freekick which was hit by Belmiro Cearense. In the 89th match minute, Olivedos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano Travassos to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Futuros FC booed when Olivedos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrinho Prata didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Olivedos players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
