The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Koko Duro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisão Sabóia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Futuros FC's Décio Neiva threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jarbas Quirino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 13th match minute, Futuros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agnaldo Brasil to maneuver through the defense. Koko Duro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrique Branco's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 18th match minute, Futuros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilton Lara to maneuver through the defense. After 27 played minutes Ibirama Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Remo Martins. When Agnaldo Brasil came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Futuros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agnaldo Brasil couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Ibirama Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Luís Eduardo Negri hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the game, Futuros FC's Oscar Trevisan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Décio Neiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 38 minutes into the match, Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Décio Neiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oscar Trevisan. In the 39th minute of the match Futuros FC got a corner. Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Agnaldo Brasil ran over to the corner to take the kick. Agnaldo Brasil made a great header on Futuros FC's corner, it was just that Ibirama Futebol Clube's Décio Neiva managed to reach the ball for a save. When Luisão Sabóia came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Ibirama Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisão Sabóia couldn't finish the play. When Ibirama Futebol Clube's Luisão Sabóia in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisão Sabóia was the one to do the kick off. In the 60th minute, Agnaldo Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henrique Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Koko Duro having to interfere. In the 64th minute Henrique Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koko Duro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Futuros FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Nilton Lara hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jarbas Quirino in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Décio Neiva saved Ibirama Futebol Clube from getting behind. After 69 minutes Ibirama Futebol Clube's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Agnaldo Brasil who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Futuros FC's Agnaldo Brasil to fire away a dangerous shot which Décio Neiva despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Emerson Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Décio Neiva having to interfere. 2-0 became the score in the 77th minute when Jarbas Quirino elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisão Sabóia in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Koko Duro saved Futuros FC from getting behind. Jarbas Quirino scored 3-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Décio Neiva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ibirama Futebol Clube's Décio Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarbas Quirino in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to Ibirama Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Luís Eduardo Negri hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarbas Quirino in the 93rd minute of play forced Ibirama Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Décio Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
