Ronaldo Vianna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Marcel Perez made a huge save. With his leg Marcel Perez managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Real Cruzeiro FC's Luís Guilherme Cabral fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 10 minutes into the game, Real Cruzeiro FC's Ronaldo Vianna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcel Perez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After some careless play in the Real Fantasma defense, Luís Guilherme Cabral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcel Perez. The Real Fantasma fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcel Perez should have stopped the shot. In the 19th minute Gonçalo Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivo Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Real Fantasma's zone, Gonçalo Sarmento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Perez came out of the goal and Gonçalo Sarmento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Real Fantasma's goalkeeper Marcel Perez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Guilherme Cabral. With a little luck, Real Fantasma's Marcel Perez got control of the ball when Ronaldo Vianna tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Real Cruzeiro FC's Luís Guilherme Cabral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcel Perez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 31st minute, Gonçalo Sarmento reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcel Perez. The goal made the score 5-0. João Pedro Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Perez having to interfere. After 35 played minutes Real Fantasma got a freekick which was hit by Valdomiro da Silva. Real Cruzeiro FC's Gonçalo Sarmento got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Luís Guilherme Cabral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Cruzeiro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gonçalo Sarmento was the one to do the kick off. Marcel Perez came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Real Cruzeiro FC's Luís Guilherme Cabral. But to his dismay, Luís Guilherme Cabral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Marcel Perez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Guilherme Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Marcel Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Guilherme Cabral in the 58th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Gonçalo Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real Fantasma's Marcel Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Sarmento in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Real Cruzeiro FC's Luís Guilherme Cabral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcel Perez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonçalo Sarmento in the 74th minute of play forced Real Fantasma's goalkeeper Marcel Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldo Vianna scored 10-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcel Perez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st minute, Gonçalo Sarmento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcel Perez was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. 92 minutes into the match, Washington Alagoano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcel Perez. Real Fantasma's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Washington Alagoano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 13-0. Felipe Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivo Amaral having to interfere.
